Darkroom coming soon.
Orientation
$30
Everyone working in the PTCPS must attend an orientation. This includes intake, “Safe-Space Clause”, community agreements, explanation of memberships, how to treat the space and the equipment. In order to use the equipment and tools at the PTCPS you must either perform proficiency or take an introductory class. These introductory classes include an orientation, so that fee will be waived.
E-mail us to schedule your orientation after purchase.
Open Studio Hours are a great time to receive the Orientation.
You can purchase membership at your Orientation, but need to have the Orientation first!

Volunteer Memberships
How to become a Volunteer Member:
01. Contact us at ptcommunityprintshop@gmail.com
02. Every prospective volunteer member must spend 10hrs volunteering for the PTCPD to qualify to become a volunteer member.
After the initial 10hrs they will get voted in and those 10hrs will go towards a discounted membership or class (there will be limited number of slots per class for volunteer members).
03. PTCPD requires 10hrs of volunteer time a month to maintain your volunteer membership. Here are some examples of the things that qualify as volunteering:Facilitating “open shop hours”. Every Thursday we will host community drop in hours from 5-8. A volunteer member must be present for these drop in hours in order to support those who are coming in to use the space as well as opening and closing up the space.. We want people of all skill levels to feel welcome during “Open Shop Hours”
/ Grant writing
/ Fundraising events
/ Upkeep of the website
/ Leading studio orientations
/ Assisting teaching artists
/ Deep cleaning and organizing
/ Inventory
/ ETC (Let us know if you have a new idea!)
04. You must sign up for your commitment to ensure someone else isn’t already taking on that responsibility!
05. Volunteer members must log and keep track of their own hours. This is an honor based system.
06. Follow through on their commitments, or find someone to cover for them if they cannot for whatever reason!
07. Volunteer members are also encouraged to come to our monthly meetings so we can continue to improve, share ideas and build community.
